About Me

Adrian Jensen

In my early twenties I became fascinated with Taoist philosophy and loved the stories of the Taoist sages and their mystical skills. Naturally I started investigating their methods and discovered Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong.

Through practicing Tai Chi Chuan, at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine(NZSATCM), I was introduced to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

In the year I spent attending Tai Chi classes at NZSATCM I became increasingly interested in Chinese Medicine and its connection to Taosit philosohpy and decided to commence full time study the following year.

The course took 4 years to complete, and in that time we studied Tuina(Massage) Qi Gong, Tai Chi Chuan and Acupuncture.
After graduating from NZSATCM in 2006 I have been practicing in the Wellington region since.

Acupuncture, Tuina(Massage), Cupping and Moxibustion(heat therapy) are the methods I use as well as recommending exercises or Postural Adjustments for rehabilitation and giving dietary advice.
Treatments are very gentle and people often comment that they feel very relaxed after receiving Acupuncture.

Tuina is often referred to as Acupuncture without the needles. For those of you who are interested, but still not ready for Acupuncture, Tuina can be a great alternative.

Currently I treat from The Radiant Health Centre Lvl 3 James Cook Arcade Mini Tower, 294 Lambton Quay. Contact me at adrian.jensen10@gmail.com or phone 04 473 7318 to make a booking.
